Best Podcast Content Distribution in Dubai: Poddster

Poddster’s global distribution team publishes Dubai podcasts to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube and other major platforms.

Once your podcast is ready, Poddster’s global content team ensures it reaches every major platform. From Apple Podcasts and Spotify to YouTube and regional directories, the team handles uploads, metadata, and optimization so Dubai creators can focus on creating instead of managing tech.

Podcasters recording at Poddster studios in Al Barsha or Motor City love how seamlessly their shows transition from studio to stream — with the international distribution team taking care of everything behind the scenes. It’s the simplest way to go from recording to global reach, all through one trusted partner.

Which Platforms Do Podcast Listeners Use Most?

Podcast listening habits have shifted significantly toward video-capable platforms. In the US, YouTube is the platform of choice for roughly 42% of monthly podcast listeners, ahead of Spotify at around 15% and Apple Podcasts at about 7%. Measured by time spent rather than preferred platform, Spotify and YouTube are nearly tied, at around 29% and 28% of listening time respectively. Globally, YouTube accounts for close to 39% share of podcast consumption, with Spotify second at roughly 21%.

Why Does Multi-Platform Distribution Matter?

No single platform reaches the whole podcast audience, and listener preferences vary by generation. Gen Z listeners lean heavily toward YouTube, with around 59% consuming podcasts there, while dedicated podcast apps like Apple Podcasts continue to retain a larger share of older listeners. Publishing an episode to only one platform means missing whichever audience segment favors a different app — which is why most distribution strategies now treat a podcast's RSS feed as the starting point rather than the destination, syndicating audio and video out to every major directory and platform simultaneously.

What Does Proper Distribution Involve?

  • Uploading to major directories — Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, and regional platforms each have their own submission and metadata requirements.
  • Metadata optimization — accurate titles, descriptions, categories, and tags help a show surface in search and recommendation systems on each platform.
  • Consistent publishing — episodes need to appear at the same time across platforms so no single audience segment is left waiting.
  • Format adaptation — video-first platforms like YouTube reward a video version of the episode, while audio-only apps still serve listeners who prefer to consume podcasts hands-free.

Platform scale also plays into distribution strategy. Spotify currently hosts around 7 million podcast titles compared with roughly 2.9 million on Apple Podcasts, while YouTube reports more than 1 billion monthly active podcast viewers. With so much content competing for attention on each platform, consistent metadata and timely publishing across all of them meaningfully affects whether a new episode gets discovered.

Spotify's global reach — more than 760 million total users, including over 290 million paid subscribers across more than 180 markets — makes it one of the largest single distribution points for podcast audio, even though YouTube now leads on total listening time in most markets. The industry's broader shift from RSS-only distribution toward video-first podcasting is widely considered one of the largest structural changes in podcasting since on-demand streaming overtook broadcast radio.

How Fast Is the Podcast Audience Growing?

The overall audience available to a well-distributed show continues to expand. Worldwide podcast listener numbers reached an estimated 619.2 million in 2026, a year-over-year increase of roughly 6.83%. That growth makes distribution strategy increasingly important: a show reaching only one or two platforms captures a shrinking share of an expanding audience, while one distributed properly across every major directory is positioned to capture new listeners as they adopt different platforms over time.
