Frequently asked questions
Haven't found what you're looking for? We're here to help.
A Family Podcast is a private recording experience designed to help families, partners, and loved ones slow down and have meaningful conversations they don’t often make time for. It’s not about performance or publishing - it’s about presence, connection, and being fully with one another, with the option to keep the conversation as a lasting keepsake.
Only if you want it to be. Family Podcasts are private by default. What happens to the recording - whether it’s kept just for you, shared with family, or published publicly - is entirely your choice.
Daily life rarely creates the conditions for deep, uninterrupted conversation. Family Podcasts intentionally remove distractions, time pressure, and surface-level interruptions. You step into a quiet, focused space designed for listening, reflection, and connection - something that’s hard to recreate at home.
It can be either - or something in between. Some families prefer a gentle question-and-answer flow, others talk freely. There’s no “right” format. The experience adapts to what feels most natural and meaningful for you.
Preparation is optional. You’re welcome to simply arrive and use the thoughtfully designed prompt cards provided. If you prefer to bring your own questions or topics, that’s equally welcome.
That’s very common - and completely okay. The prompt cards are there to gently guide the conversation, offering starting points that help unlock reflection, memories, and shared understanding without forcing anything.
Absolutely. Family Podcasts aren’t about eloquence. They’re about being yourself. Pauses, simple language, laughter, and silence are all part of real conversation - and all welcome.
Not at all. There’s no script, no expectations, and no pressure to say the “right” thing. You’re invited to speak naturally, at your own pace.
Emotional moments are treated with care and respect. You’re always in control of the pace. You can pause, take a break, or shift direction at any time. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is forced.
Family Podcasts are for anyone who wants to connect more deeply with the people who matter to them - across generations, relationships, and life stages.
Not at all. Family can mean partners, siblings, chosen family, close friends, or multi-generational groups. You decide who belongs in the room.
Yes. Many couples use Family Podcasts to reflect, reconnect, or mark a moment in their relationship
Absolutely. Shared history and meaningful connection aren’t limited to traditional family structures.
Very much so. Many families choose Family Podcasts as a way to honour elders, preserve stories, and create something meaningful across generations.
Yes. The experience adapts to the people in the room. Younger participants are welcomed and supported in a gentle, age-appropriate way.
There’s no strict age limit. What matters most is that everyone involved feels comfortable and willing to participate.
Up to five people can participate in a single Family Podcast session.
If someone can’t be physically present, remote participation can be arranged so everyone can still be part of the conversation.
Yes. Privacy is fundamental to the Family Podcasts experience. Your conversation is treated with care, discretion, and respect at every stage.
Only the small, dedicated team responsible for capturing and crafting your final video - your documentarian, producer, and editor.
Only if you explicitly choose to share it. Otherwise, it remains entirely private.
We never use audio from Family Podcast conversations for marketing. Any use of photos, behind-the-scenes visuals (without audio), or testimonials is always optional and only done with clear, written consent.
Yes. Many families do.
That’s respected immediately. Anyone can opt out at any time.
Absolutely. You control the pace. Breaks are always allowed.

That’s completely normal. Most people feel that way at the beginning - and it usually fades quickly once the conversation begins.

The experience can gently hold complexity. Nothing is forced, and you decide how deep to go.
That’s respected. Listening is just as valuable as speaking.
Yes. Quiet conversations, shared laughter, and everyday truths are just as meaningful.
