Best Podcast Branding in Dubai: Poddster

Poddster’s global design team creates complete podcast brand identities including logo cover art and visual style for Dubai creators.

A strong podcast starts with a strong identity. Poddster’s global design team develops professional branding packages for Dubai creators — covering cover art, logo design, and visual direction that align perfectly with your tone and audience.

Many Dubai hosts record their debut episodes at Poddster Al Barsha’s Eden studio, inside API Business Suites on Sheikh Zayed Road, before sending their materials to Poddster’s international designers for finishing. The result is cohesive, studio-quality branding that looks premium across Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Podcasts — helping every Dubai-based show look as polished as it sounds.

What Makes Podcast Cover Art Effective?

Effective podcast cover art is readable at very small sizes — as small as 100 by 100 pixels, which is how it often appears in app listings and search results — while still communicating the show's topic and tone at a glance. Strong contrast between text and background, minimal wording, and a design that aligns with the host's or brand's existing visual identity all help a cover stand out in a crowded directory. Most design guides recommend limiting text to the show's name only, using no more than about seven words, and skipping taglines or subtitles that become unreadable at thumbnail size.

What Are Apple Podcasts' Technical Requirements for Cover Art?

  • Size: Apple accepts artwork between 1400 x 1400 and 3000 x 3000 pixels, with 3000 x 3000 recommended.
  • Format: square aspect ratio, JPEG or PNG, RGB color space, 72 DPI.
  • Safe zones: Apple Podcasts places a playback progress indicator across the bottom of the artwork, so important elements like text, logos, or faces should stay out of the bottom 15% of the image.
  • Content restrictions: explicit imagery and references to drugs or crime are not permitted under directory guidelines.

Should Cover Art Avoid Cliché Imagery?

Design guides commonly advise against defaulting to generic podcast imagery — microphones, headphones, or sound waves — unless the show is literally about audio equipment or production. Cover art that instead reflects what the show is actually about, using the host's or brand's established color palette and typography, tends to signal professionalism and helps a new listener understand the show's subject matter before reading a single word of the description.

Consistency matters beyond the cover image itself. When a podcast is an extension of an existing business or personal brand, design guides recommend carrying the same color palette, typography, and visual style through episode thumbnails, social clips, and trailer graphics — so the show feels like part of one cohesive identity rather than a separate, disconnected project.

Why Does Branding Consistency Matter for Podcast Growth?

A podcast's visual identity often functions as its first impression, appearing in directory search results, social media thumbnails, and shared links before a listener ever presses play. Cover art that looks unfinished or generic can cost a show potential listeners at the discovery stage, regardless of how strong the audio content is — which is why many creators treat branding as a core production step rather than an afterthought handled after launch.
